            Beyonce is born in Houston in September 4, 1981 as Beyonce Giselle Knowles. She was a music school student and in late 1990s she became a super star while performing as a lead singer in Destiny Child, best selling girl group record of all time. Her song ‘Dangerously in Love' released in 2003 became the number one hit and she earned five Grammy awards that year. In 2004 she performed the national anthem in Houston at Super Bowl XXXVIII. In 2006 she released the B'Day, Déjà Vu, Irreplaceable, ‘The beautiful liar' and she was in the top list. In  2008 she has released her third solo album ' I Am  ….Sasha  Fierce'.  The album and the singles in the album have earned her five Grammy awards. Beyonce is one of the most Grammy award winners. She has earned 16 awards thirteen of which are as solo artist and three in Destiny Child.

            Beyonce also debuted as film actress and film star, film song artist. Her film ‘The pink Panther' has earned number one box office hit and about 22 million dollars in first week ticket sales. She also recorded ‘Check on it' for the sound track of the film. She also had a role in the film ‘ Dream girls'. Beyonce recorded several songs for the film's soundtrack.  In 2006 she was nominated for Golden Globe best actress (Musical), Golden globe best original song ‘Listen'.
